The Sustainable Ports Infrastructure Forum (SPIF) begins with a welcome reception and cocktails at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Ft Lauderdale on October 5, 2021 with the full day conference on October 6, 2021. The event focuses on port expansions, new logistic models, and energy integration for sustainable infrastructure in the maritime industry.
The conference brings together decision makers from the port community - port authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines, logistics operators - provides a meeting place to both learn about and discuss the latest in sustainable development and environmental practice to enable them to effectively implement the changes needed to reduce their carbon footprint and to be more sensitive to environmental considerations.
SPIF focuses on the most relevant sustainability themes and their evolving impact on the industry. The content focus will include business factors related to climate change, financial and technical challenges to onshore power supply, ports preparing for new fuels, collaborative community projects, sustainable transport and logistics, LNG bunkering and fueling the cruise and shipping industry.
